What are the lashes made from?
Pearly Gates faux mink lashes are made of synthetic hair, which is always cruelty-free and hypo-allergenic. The lash band is made of cotton so it is light-weight and comfortable for you to wear.
Can they be reused?
Pearly Gates Lash styles may be worn up to 25 times or even last you months! Please refer to the special care instructions when viewing the styles online to learn how to take care of your lashes and give them their longest, best life.
Does my purchase include any eyelash adhesive?
No, but this is something PGL may be able to offer separately for sale in the near future.
Are there different sizes available?
All lash styles are made to fit anybody. The lashes have instructions on the packaging that describe how to customize the lashes to be your perfect fit! Some people may trim a centimeter off while others may only need to trim them a tiny bit.
Should I apply mascara to the lashes?
Pearly Gates Lashes strongly advises not applying any mascara directly on the the mink lash, as this makes for a very difficult cleaning that might ruin the curl and lash shape. Instead, add mascara before the lash application or carefully under the false lash to your natural lash. Of course it's no need to stress if some product does get on the lashes as long as it's at the base!
Will these do any harm to my own lashes?
Nope. When false eyelashes are applied correctly, with proper adhesive and are removed gently, there is no harm done to your real lashes. False eyelashes are much safer and harmless compared to eyelash extensions, which will cause damage to your real lashes, making them fall out over time.
Can I sleep with them on?
Definitely try to avoid falling asleep with your lashes on as this may damage the shape of the band and hairs, while it may also irritate your eyes. If you do fall asleep with your lashes on take them off as soon as you wake up, remove the glue and place them back into their packaging.
How do I remove the glue after use?
We recommend using your fingers gently instead of tweezers to take off the excess dried glue.
Can I lend them to a friend?
This is not the best idea. If the lashes have already been worn, we would recommend quickly wiping the band with a damp rubbing alcohol dipped cotton swap or a quick light spritz of rubbing alcohol sprayed on them. This will help prevent spreading any bacteria between eyes. You can also do this to sanitize your lashes if they've been worn a lot. Just tell your friend to place an order!
My lashes came damaged, what should I do?
This is not a frequent scenario, since we package using special bubble mailers. Sometimes post offices can be rough and that may cause some damage if the parcel isn't handled properly. If this happens please contact us and we will be happy to resolve the issue if the lashes aren't wearable any longer.
How long does shipping usually take?
On a regular week, city wide shipping takes 1-2 business days. Canada wide should take 2-4 business days and USA shipping may take 2-4 weeks, although parcel tracking is available at your own cost and request.
